Florida's Space Coast

Space Coast as the name suggests is a home to one of the pioneers of America’s space race and the only place in the Western Hemisphere to blast man into outer space. Your journey into mankind’s greatest adventure starts at Kennedy Space Centre Visitor Complex, where amazing exhibits and inspiring shows will immerse you into the past, present and future of the space program.
There is plenty of things for the nature lover to do with over a hundred public parks, 250 square miles of protected sanctuaries like Indian River Lagoon, the Enchanted Forest, Canaveral National Seashore or the largest sea turtle nesting area in the U.S. and the second largest in the world.
Kennedy Space Center
Start your exploration adventure at the only place in America that blasts man into space, NASA's Kennedy Space Center. Tour the Apollo/Saturn V Center that showcases the tense moments of placing the first men on the lunar surface. The Launch Complex Observation Gantry gives you a birds-eye view of the space shuttle launch pads and the International Space Station Center is where you'll see the actual hardware being readied for placement into orbit around Earth.
Valiant Air Command & Vintage Warbird Museum
The Valiant Air Command & Vintage Warbird Museum is a non-profit museum dedicated to America's military. Sitting on 10 acres of property at the Space Coast Executive Regional Airport in Titusville, Florida, the museum maintains and restores all types of aircraft that were indigenous to the world's military Air Forces starting before WW1 to the present. In addition to vintage warbirds, the museum displays artifacts and memorabilia from the first world wars up to present time.
Brevard Zoo in Florida's Space Coast

Shopping in Florida Space Coast
Visitors in need of some shopping therapy while on the Space Coast are in luck. The options are out of this world. Whether you are looking for brand name fashions or one of a kind items to remember your visit by, the Space Coast has them all.
For traditional shopping mall connoisseurs, check out the Melbourne Square Mall off 192, the Merritt Square Mall on SR520 half way between Cocoa Village and Cocoa Beach, the Miracle City Mall in Titusville or The Avenue, a relatively new outdoor shopping mall not far from Space Coast Stadium in Viera. Each of the major malls includes several big name department stores, restaurant and assorted specialty shops.

Weather in Florida Space Coast
Florida is famous for its pleasant temperatures year-round. Ft. Pierce is known for it's wonderful climate. The proximity to the the Gulf Stream helps keep our temperature mild and sunny in the winter and comfortably breezy in the summer. Both vacationers and residents appreciate the pleasant living and working conditions provided by this superb climate. The area has an average annual temperature of 73.7 degrees between the extremes of normal winter and summer temperature.
