Central Avenue in Downtown St. Pete features a number of popular restaurants in the city. It is also the main location for the city’s nightlife; many nightclubs and bars are in and around this avenue. The Grand Central District west of Downtown; also has a good selection of bars and restaurants.

St. Petersburg offers a great selection of malls, neighbourhood shops, galleries and boutiques to suit every taste and budget. Tyrone Square mall has a variety of popular brands and department stores. The big stores featured are; Dillard’s, JC Penney, Sears and Macy’s. The mall also contain; Gap, Hollister Co., Old Navy, Forever 21 and Victoria’s Secret.

St.) carries a wide range of popular brand shoes for kids, men and women. There are a number of shops and galleries in the Grand Central Districts selling speciality items and art.

St. Pete has a humid sub tropical climate; giving the city almost year round sunshine. There can be a bit of rain from June to September. July is the warmest month with an average temperature of 28 oC. Winters are normally mild to warm with January being the coldest month with an average temperature of 16 oC.
